American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of experience for a home health and skilled nursing facility role covering multiple locations.

Details

• Home health and skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
• Covers Grand Island, Hastings (SNF and Home Health) and Kearney (SNF and HH) locations, 2-3 days per week at each
• Uses Net Health and HCHB charting systems
• Day shift schedule, 9-hour shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Monday through Friday or shifted schedule options (Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday)
• Productivity expectations of 82% for SNF and 90% for home health, including drive and documentation time
• Mileage and drive time between locations and patient visits are billable

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited speech/language pathology program preferred
• Current BLS certification
• 2+ years of experience required
• Prior work experience in a rehabilitation or geriatrics setting preferred
• State license required if applicable
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Administer and perform therapeutic interventions and assess client needs to develop individualized therapy plans
• Document observations and services provided, and notify physicians of changes in patient condition
• Provide direct consultation with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Train clients, family members, and staff on interventions and equipment use
• May utilize and supervise therapy assistants in accordance with federal and state regulations
• Onsite therapy supervisor, clinical specialist, and director available for support and training
• New graduates will be considered and trained
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• 80-mile radius rule applies for travel rate eligibility
