American Traveler is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist for an ortho/sports clinic requiring at least 6 months of clinical experience and independent one-on-one patient care.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting specializing in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation
• One-on-one 45-minute patient sessions with no double booking or overlapping patients
• Private patient rooms and three separate gym areas
• Day shift schedule: Monday 8:15am-5:15pm, Tuesday-Thursday 8:15am-5pm, Friday 8:15am-3:30pm
• 30-minute lunch and charting time built into daily schedule
• Uses Prompt EMR for charting

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required, though new grads with strong ortho/sports clinicals or one completed 13-week outpatient ortho/sports contract are welcomed
• BLS certification preferred, not required
• CertDN certification preferred
• Experience with 1:1 patient ratios required
• Any EMR/charting system experience required
• Skills in assessment, adaptive devices, AROM/AAROM/PROM, gait training, and orthopedic conditions such as ankle sprains, DDD, DJD, hip fractures, and knee/hip replacements
• Experience with modalities such as e-stim, ultrasound, TENS, and traction preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Independent clinician role requiring strong time management and documentation skills
• Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, home exercise programs, and patient/family education
• Focus on orthopedic and sports medicine populations, including post-op and degenerative joint conditions
• Open to first-time travelers with appropriate clinical background
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate
