• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, 35 guaranteed weekly hours

Requirements

• PTA license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience required
• LTC or Rehab setting experience required
• One reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide rehabilitative and skilled treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under PT supervision
• Administer manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive/assistive devices
• Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising PT to adjust treatment plans
• Document all treatment information in the electronic documentation system per regulatory requirements
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Provide consultation to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders
• May supervise and support PTA students under PT guidance
• Adherence to APTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics required
• No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested
