Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health PTA with 1+ year of recent geriatric experience and HCHB proficiency to cover territory in the Culver City to Long Beach area.

Details

• Home Health setting covering Culver City and South LA down to Long Beach territory, with individual coverage areas smaller than the full territory
• Patient population consists of geriatric cases
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day, with 6 visits daily or a minimum of 30 points weekly
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Uses HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR
• No on-call requirement, though on-call rotation may be discussed during interview

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent relevant experience required
• OASIS experience required for staff completing Start of Care (SOC)
• Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) required
• Active driver's license and personal transportation required
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

• Provide home health physical therapy services to geriatric patients
• Timely communication and documentation are mandatory
• Monday orientation required, during which billable modules are completed
• Scrubs required in any color; no jeans permitted
• iPad provided by employer; personal cell phone not required
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
• Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler is assigned their own territory and must have their own transportation
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted at the time of application
• Former employees must be separated for a minimum of 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
• Hospice/Home Health checklist completion is mandatory
