Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Post-Acute care setting requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS certification, with license required if applicable.

Details

• Post-Acute care setting in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• Approximately 90% outpatient care and 10% inpatient care
• Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, day shift 0730-1630 with an hour lunch
• Saturday coverage is inpatient only, typically about 2.5 hours of work
• Uses Cerner EMR for charting and documentation
• First to float among staff
• 40 hours per week with an every-other-weekend (EOW) rotation

Requirements

• License required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a PTA required
• Active state or compact license required for the state of submission; pending licenses not accepted
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Provide physical therapy services across both outpatient and inpatient settings
• 12 hours of orientation provided
