Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a hospital inpatient position requiring Level 1 or 2 trauma and NICU Level 3 experience.

Details

• Inpatient respiratory therapy setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (6:45p-7:15a), 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Participates in Code Blue team response
• Makes ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and lab results
• Utilizes lung protective ventilation strategies

Requirements

• RRT certification required
• NRP certification required
• BLS certification required
• MA Respiratory Care license required if applicable
• NPS and/or ACCS certification preferred
• Minimum 3+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility
• NICU Level 3 experience required
• Adult critical care experience required
• Familiarity with lung protective ventilation strategies required

Additional Information

• Work as part of a critical care team including Code Blue response
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered local
