• Long term care facility setting within the Speech Therapy unit
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Compact license accepted

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience in a Long Term Care setting
• Valid Texas state license required if applicable
• Ability to develop and implement treatment plans for swallowing, cognitive, and communication disorders

Additional Information

• Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and reduce aspiration risk
• Implement communication strategies to help residents better express themselves and understand others
• Lead, guide, and direct delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Ensure compliance with established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate resident care
• Candidates employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
