Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist with RRT certification and 2+ years of pediatric experience for a 13-week assignment at a Level 1 trauma, neonatal/pediatric-only facility.

Details

• Neonatal/pediatric-only hospital with a Level 3 NICU and PICU
• Level 1 trauma center with ventilated patients frequently present on Acute Care and Med-Surg floors
• 13-week assignment with 36 weekly hours
• Shift hours 07:00-19:30
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage per department need

Requirements

• RRT certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• PALS certification required (AHA)
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA)
• NRP certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start of assignment
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Care for ventilated pediatric and neonatal patients across NICU, PICU, Acute Care, and Med-Surg units
• Work within a Level 1 trauma center environment
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates accepted, subject to a radius rule that may affect pay rate
• COVID vaccination is not required
