American Traveler seeks an Inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist for a rehab unit in Sioux City, IA, open to new graduates and offering a compact license option.

Details

• Inpatient rehab unit setting
• 5x8 day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with possible 4x10 schedule
• Voluntary weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• May float within discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IA state license required (license required if applicable)
• Compact license accepted
• CPR certification required
• BLS certification required
• Mandatory reporter certification required
• New grads welcome to apply
• Prior travel contract experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory reference required, completed within 2 years of employment or contract
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required

Additional Information

• Contributes professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Provides and manages patient care within scope of practice
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidates must not have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Facility operates as a Level 3 trauma center
• May be required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
