American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and current OT licensure in Oklahoma.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting across a 66-bed unit
• General adult patient population with common diagnoses including CVA, SCI, TBI, and orthopedic conditions
• Patient ratios of 5-7 patients per therapist
• Day shift schedule from 8a-5p
• Weekend work required, approximately one Saturday per month with a weekday swap
• UDS EHR system used

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy required
• AHA certifications required
• Comfortable working in an acute rehab setting
• Basic computer knowledge and strong verbal/written English communication skills required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform ADLs for patients with various diagnoses and functional levels
• Work within a team-oriented environment alongside PT and OT supervisors
• Facility features specialized equipment including an InMotion Robotic Arm and adaptive therapy tools
• Black scrubs required for first day
• Must comply with facility influenza vaccination policy or provide an approved exemption
• Candidates must not reside within 60 miles of the facility
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
