American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience treating adult and geriatric neuro-CVA patients.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting on a 36-bed unit
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Patient ratio of 6 patients to 1 therapist
• Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients with neuro-CVA, amputation, and orthopedic diagnoses
• Uses standard rehab equipment along with Ekso NR and REAL VR technology
• Charting completed in UDS ProDoc
• No floating required
• Weekend shifts available on request
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
• PT license required if applicable
• AHA certifications required
• Experience treating adult patients required
• Ortho and neuro experience preferred but not required
• Social security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions
• Facility features specialized therapy gyms with high-tech devices, a therapy car, and apartments for practicing daily living tasks
• Black scrubs required
• Report time is 8:00 AM on first day
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required per facility policy
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
