Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift acute care position requiring 1+ years of experience and the ability to work independently as the sole RT on shift.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy department serving all ages
• Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekend rotation every other weekend as needed
• Call requirements as needed
• Floating requirements as needed

Requirements

• RRT certification/licensure required to practice in WV (license required if applicable)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 1+ years of experience required
• Experience in ER and critical care settings required
• Ability to work independently in a critical access hospital setting
• Comfortable functioning as the sole RT on shift
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

• Facility provides care to a high-volume patient population including significant emergency room volume
• Facility offers a wide range of surgical specialties including robotic, spine, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, cardiology, and trauma/emergency services
• Facility is Joint Commission accredited
• Professional demeanor expected
• Scrubs of any color accepted; casual wear not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
