Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience and Epic charting experience for a day-shift assignment treating a wide range of orthopedic and neurologic conditions.

Details

• Outpatient Clinic setting
• Monday-Friday day shift, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, no weekends
• No call requirements
• May be required to work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Floating across county lines possible if patient care needs require it
• Patient ratio of 1:1-2
• Epic charting system required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience required
• PT License (PA or COMPACT) required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience treating orthopedic conditions including ankle sprains, DDD, DJD, frozen shoulder, hip and knee injuries, low back pain, and post-op spinal/shoulder surgery
• Experience with assessment, documentation, gait training, assistive devices, and modalities such as e-stim and ultrasound
• Experience with cardiopulmonary, neurologic, and geriatric patient populations preferred

• May treat COVID-positive patients

• Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, home exercise programs, and patient/family education
• RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days
• First-time travelers not considered for this role
