Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to cover ED and inpatient units at a Level IV facility, requiring current AZ licensure and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Covers both Emergency Department and inpatient units
• 22 inpatient beds and 9 ED beds
• Level IV facility
• Uses Medhost charting system
• One RRT staffed per shift covering med unit, ED, and outpatient
• Equipment includes LTV-1200 ventilators, Vision BiPAP, and BAN nebulizers for breathing treatments
• Alternating 3/12s schedule
• Shift hours from 06:00 AM to 06:30 PM

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
• Graduate of a CoARC or approved Respiratory Care program
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Current AZ license required (license required if applicable)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• CPI certification required within 3 months of start
• NRP certification required within 6 months of start

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care services across ED and inpatient med unit settings
• Work independently as the sole RRT on shift covering multiple units
• COVID vaccine not required
