Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position at a teaching hospital, requiring 3+ years of current RRT experience.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy department at a 298-bed teaching hospital offering a full continuum of medical specialties
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed schedule
• Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage required if scheduled
• No on-call requirements
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred

Requirements

• Current RRT experience of 3+ years required; CRTs will not be considered
• MA license required if applicable
• Active NBRC certification required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Must provide a supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment

Additional Information

• Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, with all requests submitted at time of consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this assignment
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• All scheduling requests must be finalized prior to consideration, as requests after offer may not be honored
