American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an inpatient hospital unit, requiring a New Hampshire or Compact PT license in hand at time of consideration.

Details

• Inpatient Physical Therapy unit setting
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 shifts per week
• Schedule includes Monday/Thursday 10a-630p and Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 830a-5p
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire or Compact PT license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Experienced Physical Therapist required
• Demonstrated clinical competence in administration of formal standardized tests, scales, and tools
• Strong understanding of chronic illness impact and acute care challenges for patients and families

Additional Information

• Performs patient evaluations and re-evaluations, documenting in accordance with licensure and department standards
• Advocates for and actively participates in developing disciplinary and interdisciplinary team members
• Reviews provider orders and applies pertinent medical information such as lab values and vital signs routinely
• Considers patients' age, physical, emotional, social, economic, cultural, and vocational status in care planning
• Weekly orientation provided
• Accepts local candidates within a 50 mile radius at a local rate
• Returning perm staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
