Description

American Traveler is seeking an outpatient-focused Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week assignment offering hands-on treatment in a hospital-based ortho and neuro clinic.

Details

• Outpatient PT department with some inpatient acute coverage
• Treats approximately 8-12 patients per day
• Patient population includes ortho post-joint, pain, back, post-falls, post-neuro, and some sports-related cases
• Facility features a warm water therapy pool
• Uses Epic EMR
• 4x10-hour shifts, Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri, 8am-6pm
• 45-minute outpatient sessions with blocked time for inpatient evaluations and documentation
• Rare weekend coverage on an on-call basis
• No holiday coverage required
• Works alongside 3 PTAs and department leadership

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PT experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Active CO PT license required if applicable
• Driver's license copy required for consideration

Additional Information

• Training provided on department-specific procedures
• First week includes department-specific orientation
• Clinicians must be in-state for orientation week, even if initial modules are remote
• Scrub or business casual attire accepted
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
• Float radius policy applies; travelers are expected to float within their hired zone and should secure housing accordingly
