Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring an active Massachusetts PT license, 1 year of travel experience, and 1 year of home care experience.

Details

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence across the North Region, including Arlington, Everett, Malden, Medford, West Medford, Melrose, and Somerville
• Patient population ranges from birth to over 100 years old with physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities
• Schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Requires ability to travel to patient cases as assigned
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required; license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of travel assignment experience required
• Minimum 1 year of home care experience required
• AHA-issued certifications only
• Epic charting experience required

Additional Information

• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate care
• Maintain thorough and timely electronic documentation in accordance with agency policies and standards of practice
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates permanently residing within 60 miles of Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
• First-time travelers are not eligible due to required prior travel experience
