Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a skilled nursing unit setting, requiring 1 year of experience and BLS certification along with an applicable PT license.

Details

• LTC/SNF care setting located on a 19-bed skilled nursing unit within an orthopedic hospital campus
• Possible acute care coverage in the joint connection unit
• Days shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required; no holiday coverage required
• Must be able to cover all floors of the hospital as needed
• Utilizes MEDITECH for charting
• Works alongside PTAs and a rehab aide as part of the therapy team

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Physical Therapist License, Temporary License through the West Virginia Board of Physical Therapists, or PT Compact License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Department-specific orientation provided
• Royal blue scrubs required as part of dress code
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Returning WVU Medicine travelers must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying, and cumulative time within WVU facilities cannot exceed 1 year without a 2-year break
