American Traveler is hiring a school-based Occupational Therapist for a middle school setting, requiring an active Illinois OT license issued by IDFPR.

Details

• On-site position at two middle schools within a school district
• Float role supporting multiple school buildings
• Day shift schedule Monday through Friday, 7:45am-3:15pm
• 7.5 hour work day with a 30 minute unpaid lunch
• 35 billable hours per week
• Assignment runs through the end of the school year

Requirements

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license issued by IDFPR
• License required if applicable
• CPS fingerprinting and CANTS background checks required, with clearance results needed prior to start date

Additional Information

• Work as part of a collaborative team of eight Occupational Therapists supporting the school district
• Serve on middle school building-level teams to conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for special education eligibility determinations
• Provide MTSS and IEP support to students
• Collaborate with school teams to promote generalization of skills across educational settings
