American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, requiring CCC certification and 1+ years of experience.

Details

• 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting
• Speech Therapy department located on the 2nd floor
• Treats adult acute rehab patients with diagnoses including neuro conditions, Parkinson's, and debility
• Uses UDS and Cerner EHR systems
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required approximately once per month
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1+ years of experience required
• Adult acute rehabilitation experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active license verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide speech-language pathology services within a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program
• Support patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Work environment described as relaxed and efficient
• Burgundy/wine colored scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
