American Traveler seeks an inpatient Speech Language Pathologist with 2+ years of experience and expertise in video swallow studies and dysphagia management for a hospital-based role.

Details

• Inpatient setting located within the main hospital
• 13-week contract assignment
• 8-hour day shifts with no weekends or call required
• Performs video swallow studies, bedside swallow evaluations, and dysphagia management
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• Active Illinois SLP license required if applicable
• AHA-issued certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant setting experience required
• 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required for consideration
• Ability to float within scope to other like units

Additional Information

• Conduct video swallow studies and bedside swallow evaluations
• Manage and treat dysphagia in an inpatient hospital population
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
