Description

American Traveler is looking for a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital assignment requiring at least 1 year of acute care experience and Epic charting experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a short-term acute care, teaching hospital with 536 total staff beds
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• 13-week assignment with block scheduling required
• Weekend coverage required, fluctuating with an anticipated 2-4 weekends per month
• Floating between units required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required
• OR license required if applicable
• Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred

Additional Information

• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted facility
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer
• Scrub color is flexible for most units; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
• No parking fees at this facility
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must be located outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• First-time travelers are not required for this position
