American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 1-3 years of experience for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital treating stroke, TBI, and spinal cord injury patients.

Details

• 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting
• Speech Therapy department serving a general adult patient population
• Treats common diagnoses including stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, and debility
• Uses EPIC and Rehab Connect EHR systems
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required approximately once a month
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• 1-3 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist required
• SLP license required if applicable
• Experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehab hospital settings preferred
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English required
• Must be a cooperative team player
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide individualized rehabilitation therapy for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Work within a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program focused on maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life
• Black scrubs required for this assignment
• Candidates must report between 7:30-8:00 AM on first day
• Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
