American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a school-based pediatric position in California, with new graduates encouraged to apply.

Details

• School-based assignment serving multiple school sites in Trinity and Shasta counties, based out of a Redding office
• Pediatric, school-aged client population
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm (8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week)
• Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluation, and treatment program design and implementation
• Mileage and travel time reimbursed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• California Occupational Therapy license required if applicable
• Valid Driver's License required
• New graduates accepted, no minimum experience required
• NBCOT certification preferred
• Experience with pediatric populations, activities of daily living, and sensory integration preferred
• Experience with autism, early intervention, handwriting, learning disabilities, and neurodevelopmental treatment preferred

Additional Information

• Therapist will travel between multiple school sites within the county
• Position may extend for the full school year through May 2027
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
