American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 12-hour night shift contract role requiring 2+ years of experience and RRT or CRT certification.

Details

• Hospital setting with 337 licensed beds, Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center designation, and Level III NICU
• Adult care and NICU patient population (no pediatric)
• Average of 300+ patients per day
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 1900-0700, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required
• Holiday coverage required for approximately 75% of holidays
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Floating required to Region 2 facilities including Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, and Central Division facilities (CMC Main, CMC Mercy, Levine Children's Hospital) as needed within scope of practice
• Uses Epic EMR
• Uses Servo ventilators (I, U, and Airs), Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble CPAP equipment

Requirements

• RRT or CRT certification required
• NC licensure required (license required if applicable)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
• Minimum 12 months of core work experience in unit specialty area, with most recent experience within the last year
• Skills required in Critical Care, CVICU, NICU, ED, Progressive Care, and all floor therapies
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
