Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week inpatient rehabilitation hospital assignment requiring 2+ years of PT experience and a Master's degree in Physical Therapy.

Details

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds across 3 floors
• General adult patient population with common diagnoses including stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, and debility
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required approximately once a month
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Uses Epic and Rehab Connect EHR systems

Requirements

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy required
• Minimum 2 years of PT experience required
• PT license required if applicable
• AHA certifications required
• Acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehab hospital experience preferred
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written) required
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Must be a cooperative team player

Additional Information

• Provides comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Focus on maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life through individualized rehabilitation programs
• Black scrubs required for dress code
• Report time is 7:30-8:00 AM on first day
• Rear building parking available
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
