American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a pediatric outpatient rehab role requiring 1+ year of experience and NM state SLP licensure with CCCs.

Details

• >Works in a pediatric outpatient rehabilitation setting within a hospital's Rehabilitation Department
• Treats a pediatric patient population with 10-14 scheduled patients per day
• Common diagnoses include speech/language delay, autism, Trisomy 21, and articulation/phonological disorders
• Uses Cerner EHR for documentation
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Includes an unpaid 30-minute lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM
• No weekend or call requirements

Requirements

• Current New Mexico State SLP license with CCCs required, if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Pediatric outpatient setting experience preferred
• Education requirements based on NM State Licensing Board standards

Additional Information

• Provide speech and language therapy services to pediatric outpatients
• Work under the guidance of a Site Coordinator and SLP Coordinator
• Attend mandatory meetings, with timecard adjustments made if meetings occur during unpaid lunch breaks
• Dress code includes dark gray (pewter) tops and black pants, scrubs or polo/button-up shirts, with no jeans permitted
• All required vaccinations must be verified prior to starting
• Hospital is a 198-bed, Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah
