American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient setting serving patients 55+, requiring Epic EMR experience and an active Iowa state license.

• Facility trauma levels vary by location (Level 1 through Level 4 trauma centers)

Requirements

• Any level of previous experience accepted
• First-time travelers welcome
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Active Iowa state license required (license required if applicable)
• Child and Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter certification required
• Valid driver's license or proof of permanent residency required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
• One supervisory reference/performance evaluation from within 2 years of employment or contract required

Additional Information

• Candidates who were employed by the facility within the past 12 months will not be considered
• Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify for travel rate, except at the Madison location where local candidates are accepted with a 10% rate reduction
• Travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited to 1 day off request between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 regardless of holidays worked
