American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Acute Care setting, requiring 1+ year of independent practice experience and offering a 21-week holiday coverage contract.

Details

• Inpatient Acute Care setting
• Patient population includes CVA, orthopedic, and dementia cases with discharge planning needs
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 0800-1630
• May float throughout the hospital, excluding pediatrics
• 21-week contract providing holiday coverage

Requirements

• Active WA state OT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with ability to work independently
• Experience with patient evaluation, therapy, and home program recommendations required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, providing therapy, and developing home program recommendations for discharge
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Neutral or solid color scrubs required
• Parking available adjacent to the hospital
