American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week travel assignment in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, requiring an Associate degree and 1-2 years of outpatient or acute care experience.

Details

• 13-week travel assignment on the Physical Therapy unit
• Day shift schedule, 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
• Serves both inpatients and outpatients at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Facility includes Swing Beds, ICU, Med/Surg, Orthopedics, and Cardiac Cath Lab units
• Level IV trauma ER setting
• May treat COVID-positive patients
• Weekend and holiday coverage per department needs

Requirements

• Associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Current PTA license to practice in Texas required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required upon hire and must be maintained
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient or acute care setting
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Work in a Level IV trauma Critical Access Hospital setting
• Scrubs required for dress code, no specific color mandated
