American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with recent Epic experience for an evening-shift acute care hospital position requiring floating across multiple sites.

Details

• 254-bed acute care hospital setting within a larger health network
• Primary assignment to one main site, with required floating to other network sites as needed based on staffing and census
• Evening shift schedule: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, 4x10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
• Epic EMR used; recent experience within the last 12 months is required

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required for those who obtained licensure on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent
• Active, unrestricted PT license in the state of practice required; license required if applicable
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months required
• Must have worked in the submitted specialty within the last 3 months
• 2 supervisor references required: one from the past year and one from the past two years

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include completing patient evaluations, establishing individualized treatment and discharge plans, providing therapy interventions, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Supervises assigned PT assistants as part of daily duties
• Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care
• Candidates with prior license restrictions will not be considered
• RTO is capped at 5 days; requests exceeding this will result in automatic declination
• Vaccination compliance is required as a condition of employment per facility policy; medical and religious exemptions may apply
