Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with recent Epic experience for a day shift, acute care hospital position requiring flexibility to float across multiple sites.

Details

• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
• Primary placement in the Physical Therapy unit of a 254-bed acute care hospital
• Floating to other network sites is required as needed based on staffing and census
• Documents using Epic EMR; recent Epic experience is mandatory

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required for those who obtained licensure on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience preferred
• Active, unrestricted PT license in the state of practice required; license required if applicable
• Candidates with any prior hit on their license will not be considered
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months required
• Must have worked in the PT specialty within the last 3 months
• Two supervisor references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
• Specialty-specific skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include completing evaluations, developing individualized treatment and discharge plans, providing therapy interventions, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• May supervise assigned PT assistants
• Requests for time off (RTO) exceeding 5 days will result in automatic decline
• All facility-required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
• Facility participates in E-Verify
