American Traveler is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week day shift contract at an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Chandler, AZ.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital (IRF) with 40 beds
• Occupational Therapy department serving adult patients
• Common diagnoses include neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and fall-related conditions
• Patient ratio of 8 patients per therapist, supported by 1–2 therapy assistants and 1 rehab tech
• Specialized equipment includes Vector, LiteGait, Saebo, InMotion ARM, Senaptec Sensory, and Technobody systems
• EHR system: UDS
• Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Float option to a sister facility approximately 8 miles away
• Weekends on request

Requirements

• Active COTA license in Arizona (license required if applicable)
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a COTA
• Strong time management skills required
• Point-of-care documentation experience required
• Knowledge of GG Scoring required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide occupational therapy services to adult inpatient rehabilitation patients across neuro, ortho, cardiac, and fall-related diagnoses
• Wine-colored scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible for this position
