American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a flexible schedule travel position at a large skilled nursing facility in Monterey County, CA, with mentorship available for those with limited experience.

• Large skilled nursing facility (SNF) in Monterey County, CA
• Serves both short-term and long-term resident populations
• Flex schedule: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
• 13-week contract
• Documents using Net Health EMR

Requirements

• Active CA OTA license required if applicable
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• SNF experience preferred; mentorship available for candidates with 0–1 year of experience
• Strong documentation and time-management skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday)

Additional Information

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient-centered, functionally focused care
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and applicable regulatory standards
