Description

American Traveler is seeking a PTA with outpatient orthopedic experience for a 13-week contract in Landover, MD, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and familiarity with personal injury and workers' comp cases.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting
• Average caseload of 12–14 patients per day, approximately 60 patients per week
• Patient population includes orthopedic, personal injury, and workers' compensation cases
• Uses RainTree EMR for documentation and charting
• Monday through Friday schedule, noon to 8 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current active PTA license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a PTA
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics required
• Experience with personal injury and workers' compensation cases required
• New graduates will not be considered

Additional Information

• Full support staff at every location, including front office staff and PT Aides/Techs, to assist with patient flow
• Orientation is provided by the Clinic Director prior to the assignment start date and includes staff introductions, EMR training on RainTree, and shadowing treatments on day one
• Day two of orientation is expected to be fully independent and patient-facing
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
