Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position requiring ER/CCU and NICU Level 2 experience with a 13-week travel assignment in Anchorage, Alaska.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Respiratory Therapy department
• Patient population includes neonates through adults
• Performs ventilator set-up for neonates through adults, Hi Flow in NICU, Neb Treatments, Nitric Oxide, Flolan Therapy, Bipap, Bubble CPAP, and EKGs
• Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Floats to cover all units within Respiratory Therapy
• Weekend and on-call rotation required

Requirements

• Current CRT or RRT certification
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• ER/CCU and NICU Level 2 experience required
• EKG experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care across multiple units including ER, CCU, and NICU
• Perform a variety of ventilator management and respiratory support procedures for patients ranging from neonates to adults
• Hospital-issued scrubs required for dress code
• Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility
