Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with at least one year of OTA experience for a home health day shift position in the North Kansas City, Missouri area.

Details

• Home health setting covering Jackson, Clay, and Platte counties in Missouri
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM schedule
• 5x8-hour day shifts with no on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Missouri Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) state license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an OTA in an acute setting required
• Home care experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and personal auto insurance with candidate listed as a named driver required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to create positive impressions with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers
• Knowledgeable in occupational therapy best practices and able to make sound clinical judgments
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize effectively

Additional Information

• Provide occupational therapy assistant services to patients in a home health environment across multiple Missouri counties
• Must be able to identify patient situations and apply the most appropriate solutions
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
