American Traveler is seeking a licensed PTA for a Home Health position covering Jackson and Clay counties in the North Kansas City area, with a Monday through Friday daytime schedule and no on-call requirements.

• Home health setting covering Jackson and Clay counties
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Missouri PTA license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA in an acute setting required
• Home care experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance with your name listed as a driver required
• Strong communication skills with ability to create positive impressions with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers
• Knowledgeable in therapy best practices with the ability to make sound physical therapy judgments
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize effectively

Additional Information

• Provide physical therapy assistance to home health patients across the Jackson and Clay county service areas
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
