Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) with adult critical care and ED experience for a night shift travel assignment in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit.

Details

• Work in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at an acute care hospital
• Adult critical care and emergency department patient population; pediatric exposure preferred
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a, 3x12-hour shifts
• Weekends are varied, typically every 3rd or 4th weekend
• Up to 4 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule
• Holiday and weekend rotation required
• May rotate through charge nurse position as needed
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• CRT or RRT credential required
• BLS required
• Minimum 1 year of experience acceptable
• Adult critical care and emergency department experience required; pediatric experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates must be able to shave facial hair to achieve a proper N95 mask seal for Fit Testing — CAPRs and PAPRs are not available and no exceptions are made
• Must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Rotate through charge responsibilities as needed
• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• Facial hair must be shaved prior to Fit Testing; failure to comply may result in assignment cancellation
