Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a unique Alaskan coastal community accessible only by air or water.

Details

• Position is based in a small community medical center's rehabilitation department, working alongside a PT, OT, and SLPA
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active Alaska PTA license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a PTA
• Relevant rehabilitation certifications such as ASHA, CHT, or ACP Training required

Additional Information

• Housing is provided within walking distance of the facility
• No pets or visitors are permitted in the provided housing
• A facility vehicle and recreational equipment such as fishing poles are available for staff use on a checkout basis
• The location is accessible only by air or water, situated in a scenic Alaskan town with opportunities for fishing, hiking, biking, and kayaking/canoeing
