American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a Magnet-recognized, top-ranked children's hospital in California, specializing in developmental conditions including Autism, sensory challenges, and fine motor delays.

Details

• Outpatient pediatric OT setting at a nationally ranked children's hospital
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts scheduled Tuesday through Friday (Monday off)
• Patients include children with varied developmental conditions such as Autism, sensory challenges, fine motor delays, and regulation issues
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Free parking available for travelers
• 20-week contract
• No on-call requirements; shift cancellations may occur based on patient volume

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
• Pediatric outpatient experience required
• Active CA OT license required if applicable — candidates licensed in another state may utilize the 60-day rule to practice in CA while obtaining their CA license, and must be willing to pursue licensure upon offer
• Current NBCOT certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Children's hospital experience preferred but not required
• Feeding/eating therapy experience preferred but not required
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

• Maximum of 6 days of RTO allowed for the duration of the contract

• Scrubs of any color are accepted
• CA OT license processing typically takes 6–8 weeks after all required documents are received
