American Traveler is seeking a PTA with 2+ years of experience and active BLS certification for a 13-week Home Health assignment in the greater Sacramento, CA area.

Details

• Home Health setting serving the greater Sacramento County area
• Patients present with a variety of diagnoses including cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions
• Typical caseload is 5–6 patients per day
• Uses Cerner for documentation and charting
• 8-hour day shifts

Requirements

• Active PTA state license (California or Compact/NLC); pending licenses will not be accepted — license required if applicable
• Active BLS (AHA) certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a PTA
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Treats patients across a broad range of diagnoses including cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions in a home health environment
• New graduates are considered only in exceptional circumstances; at least 2 years of experience is strongly preferred
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
