American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification and 2+ years of home health experience for a 13-week home health assignment in Pittsfield, MA.

Details

• Home health setting serving clients in the Pittsfield, MA area
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend rotation required approximately every 4 to 6 weekends
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required; Clinical Fellows will be considered
• Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of SLP home health experience required
• Active AHA BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required — candidates must be able to drive to patient locations independently
• Acute care experience preferred
• Familiarity with rehabilitation equipment including communication aids, language devices, and wheelchairs
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• 1 supervisory reference signed within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Skills checklist for Speech-Language Pathology (current within 1 year) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides direct speech therapy services to home health clients, including evaluation, treatment, and ongoing assessment
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in developing and implementing comprehensive patient care plans
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be approved for this assignment; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront and will not be approved after the offer stage
• Candidates should ensure voicemail is set up and accessible, as the facility will contact travelers directly for interviews
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2 years of home health SLP experience is firmly required
