American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with inpatient acute experience for a 13-week contract at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring a current Idaho PT license and AHA BLS certification.

• Inpatient acute care setting at a Level II Trauma Center
• Physical Therapy unit focused on inpatient rehabilitation and recovery
• 8-hour day shifts
• Epic EMR used in this position
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Inpatient acute care experience required
• Graduate of a nationally accredited school of physical therapy required
• Current Idaho Physical Therapy License required; license required if applicable
• AHA BLS certification required
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to maintain prolonged standing and/or sitting positions

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating and assessing referred patients and formulating individualized treatment plans
• May supervise physical therapy assistants and aides
• Collaborates with medical staff, case managers, social workers, and adjusters
• 12-hour on-site orientation provided
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
