Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with acute inpatient experience for a 13-week hospital-based assignment requiring an SC or Multistate Compact PT license and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Day shift schedule: 5x8s, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Weekends not required
• On-call not required
• Holiday coverage may be required
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs or between like units/sister facilities is possible
• Charting performed in Epic
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient physical therapy experience required
• SC or Multistate Compact Physical Therapist license required at the start of the contract (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Epic EMR experience
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any facility in this health system must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• Pre-start orientation modules are required to be completed prior to the assignment start date
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak months are August and September
