American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric OR position in Bangor, Maine, requiring a compact or ME license and a minimum of one year of OR experience.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room setting
• Day shift schedule: 7:00am - 4:30pm
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — compact or Maine (ME) state license required
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Two professional references within the past year required, at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge Nurse (peer references not accepted)
• Full SSN, Driver's License, and copies of all certifications required for consideration
• Flu vaccination required for clearance to start
• Permanent address must be 100+ miles South or Southwest of the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Candidates who have previously worked at any Northern Light Health Hospital in a permanent capacity are not eligible
• Candidates living 100+ miles North of the facility may be considered on a case-by-case basis with individual approval from facility leadership
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission
• Manager/clinical interviews are required as part of the hiring process
• Medical exemptions for the flu vaccine are accepted but must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance for committee review; religious exemptions are not accepted
