Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient PT position, treating an average of 10 patients per day across orthopedic, neurological, and vestibular diagnoses using Cerner EMR.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting
• Average patient load of 9–11 patients per day (10 on average)
• Patient population includes orthopedic, total joint, vestibular, neurological, and balance-related diagnoses
• Charting performed in Cerner EMR
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (8-hour shifts with a required 30-minute lunch)
• No weekend requirement
• Clinic is supported by 2 PTAs; no rehab aides or OTAs on staff
• 14-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent outpatient physical therapy experience
• Active state PT license required (pending licenses not accepted); license required if applicable
• Active BLS certification required (pending certifications not accepted)
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of outpatient orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and balance patients
• 1–2 day floor-specific orientation provided
• Professional attire required; no specific scrub color
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
