American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient clinic setting in Washington, DC, with experience in a broad range of orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting serving multiple District of Columbia locations
• Patient population includes adults, geriatric, and adolescent patients
• Minimum of 11 patient visits per day, 55 visits per week
• Orthopedic caseload includes conditions such as ACL tears, rotator cuff injuries, disc herniation, total joint replacement, plantar fasciitis, osteoarthritis, and more
• Neurological caseload includes concussion, Parkinson's disease, and vestibular/vertigo conditions
• Uses NextGen EHR for documentation and charting
• Business casual dress code

Requirements

• Current active PTA license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• New graduates will be considered, though 1+ year of experience is preferred
• Experience with orthopedic and neurological patient populations preferred
• Proficiency in case management
• Experience with fall risk assessments
