Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week post-acute care assignment on a Physical Therapy unit.

Details

• Post-acute care setting, working within a Physical Therapy unit
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday or alternative days as requested
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA required; no exceptions
• Current BLS certification required
• Active PTA license required if applicable
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years — both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 80 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; local candidates are accepted at a different rate
• Charting is performed using a computerized system
